Guided Meditation: read the meditation several times, recorded or have someone read it out loud for you. Pause 3-5 seconds between stops and 5-8 seconds between each renouncement.)
Breathe in deeply three times
In your imagination, see yourself in a garden at night time. Listen to the crickets; feel the dewy grass under your feet. Look at your hands. You are carrying a vase, full of murky, dark water. The vase is heavy and difficult to carry. The water's foul smell is making you a bit sick. You are walking on a cobbled path which ends in a barren patch of land. There is a gaping hole in the middle of this patch. You pour the dirty water in it, to allow Nature to purify it. These viscous liquid represents five limiting beliefs that you are letting go. As you pour the dark water into the hole, repeat the following words:
1.I renounce blaming others for how I feel. Those feelings are my own and I have the power to deal with them.
2.I renounce hurting
and putting myself down with cruel words: I am my inner parent and inner child and in my soul's home there is only love and support.
3.I renounce the need to impress others. Although my light will inspire some people, its main mission is to show me my path in life.
4.I renounce the use of labels and I stop trying to put myself and others into pre-defined categories. Each individual is a valuable original.
5.I renounce the holding on to chains that stop me from flying and reaching my goals. There is only one person responsible for my life and I see her every day when I step in front of the mirror.
Now, cover the hole with dirt. You will see a nearby creek. Go there and wash the vase. Walk back to the point of origin. Feel the lightness of the vase. Smell the perfume from the flowers all around you. See the stars above your head. Enjoy the sense of freedom and well-being.
Breathe in deeply three times. Wiggle your toes and fingers. Open your eyes.
